Glossybox August 2013 Review!

August's Glossybox theme is High Flyers - products that can be taken on your travels and they have also come from other countries. Nice!

So first up, from the USA, we have a 40ml tube of Aquaphor soothing skin balm from Eucerin.
This is a balm that helps very dry skin and is gentle enough for use on babies. I do have really dry skin on my legs and this is a good size tube to be able to give it a good test!

Next we have, also from the USA, a TRESemme Treatment Shot.
This little tube is to be applied to already shampooed hair and left on for 60 seconds, then rinsed. It's meant to help get you soft. smooth, frizz-free hair. I can't wait to see if it works!

From the UK, we get a Jelly Pong Pong 2-in-1 Eyeshadow and eyeliner.

I wasn't a fan of the chubby lip crayon that I had a few boxes ago, so was intrigued to see what I thought of this. The texture and apply-ability was ok, and the colour looks nice on the swatch, however, it didn't look quite so nice on the eyes! A bit too red looking, I don't think it goes that well with my skin tone!

From Brazil, I have a Makeup Remover Pen, by Oceane.
This looks like a great little tool, so I hope it works! You shake the pen and apply to any smudged bits of makeup, like mascara, lipstick, eyeliner, lip-liner etc. This is great for your handbag and traveling!

Last up, from Sweden, is an eyelash curler, by Emite Make Up.
This curler has been developed with professional makeup artists and does look to be nice and sturdy. I have high hopes for this one!

So that's my August Glossybox! I'm pretty happy with it. The eyelash curlers look good and the dry skin cream should be good. Hopefully the hair treatment works and so too the makeup remover pen!
