Birchbox March 2013 review!

It's time for March's Birchbox review! The theme this month is Role Models - hero products with inspiring stories and results you'll want to pass on.

Ok, here we go!

First up is a Laura Geller Inkwell Waterproof Gel Liner in Black.

This looks really nice. I'm not a massive liner wearer, but will definitely try this out and see what it's like.
This has Jojoba Oil and Vitamin E in it and retails for around £12.

Next is a cleansing balm from RMK, this is a rose scented balm that you smooth onto your face, emulsify with wet hands and then rinse off. I am not a lover of rose scented things, but this actually suits this balm and smells good! This 25g sample is worth around £7.

Up next is a 30ml body lotion by La Sultane De Saba. I've never heard of this brand before and the lotion smells really nice. It has a light, kind of creamy, spicy, Oriental scent. Not too strong though. I was happy with this until I noticed the 2nd ingredient is mineral oil. I had this issue with an item in my Glossybox. I don't like products with a ton of mineral oil, so I don't really want to use this now! Such a shame. The sample is worth around £3.

Then we have a 3g tube of Yu-Be cream. This is apparently a cult product from Japan that is multi-use. A bit like Eight-hour cream I'm guessing! The cream is quite thick and smells like Vicks VapoRub (it's camphor).
I'll definitely be using this on my hands and lips! This is worth about £0.70

Next is a perfume sample from Molton Brown. I hate getting perfume samples! I just think it's so hit and miss to get a scent you like. I was hoping this Molton Brown one would be nice because I like their products and most of their scents. Unfortunately, this is a bit too masculine for me.

It sounds really good, but it smells woody and yes a bit like leather - I hate leather, being Vegetarian!

A Beauty Extra of a 30 Day Thermal Transformation Mask from Sanctuary. This is the 3rd one of these I've had, but don't mind as I like it! It's really smooth and warms up when you apply it. You put a layer of serum on, then a layer of clay mask and wait 15 minutes. I enjoy using this!

Lastly, a Lifestyle Extra of a cute mini Lindt Lindor tin!

This had 4 Lindor truffles in it. I am seriously happy with this as I Love Lindor! Thanks Birchbox!

I liked this months box! It was a good selection of products (7 in total!) so I'm happy with that.
The only downside was the perfume sample, but seeing as I had 7 items, that one doesn't really matter too much. And I was disappointed the body lotion is full of mineral oil.

Other than that, thumbs up for my March Birchbox!
